The effectiveness of a training program based on the lesson research "Lesson study" on the performance of science teachers in Najran region in the light of national professional standards

Abstract

The study aimed to develop the performance of science teachers in Najran region in light of the national professional standards, by bulding a training program based on the “Lesson study” lesson and demonstrating its effectiveness in that. The study used a note card and an interview card, and the study found the following: There are statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the two applications: pre and post, for the experimental group in the performance of science teachers in the Najran region in the criterion "creating opportunities for students' learning and enhancing it", and there are statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the two applications: pre and post, for the experimental group in The performance of science teachers in the Najran region in the standard “Assessing students’ learning and providing them with constructive feedback.” These results indicated the effectiveness of a training program based on the “Lesson study” lesson on the performance of science teachers in the Najran region in the light of national professional standards.
