Job satisfaction and its relationship with achievement motivation of teachers in the schools of Al-Mazar Al-Janoubi district

Abstract

This search aimed at identifying the level of job satisfaction and achievement motivation among a sample of teachers in the schools of Al-Mazar Al-Janoubi district as well as investigating the relationship between them. The study sample consisted of (500) male and female teachers from the district of Al-Mazar Al-Janoubi who were selected randomly. In order to achieve the study objectives، two scales were developed: the scale of job satisfaction and the scale of achievement motivation. In order to analyze the data، the researchers used means، standard deviations Cronbach alpha coefficient and Pearson correlation coefficient. The results revealed that the level of job satisfaction and achievement motivation among the teachers in the district of Al-Mazar Al-Janoubi was medium. The results revealed that there is a statistically significant positive relationship between job satisfaction and achievement motivation among teachers at (α≤0.05). In the light of the results، the study recommended the necessity of improving the social and financial situation of teachers as well as activating the log of professional behavior due to its role in promoting the level of achievement motivation among teachers.
