Digital transformation of the Faculty of Education, Tanta University in light of the Corona pandemic between reality and expectations

Abstract

The current study aimed to reveal reality of digital transformation at the Faculty of Education, Tanta University, in light of the spread of the Corona virus Which included seven axes: The college’s digital transformation strategy, students, faculty members, study programs, college infrastructure, administration and finance, electronic evaluation, and the questionnaire was applied to a Intentional sample of faculty members in the facult of education, Tanta University, consisting of (108) members, with a percentage of (75.52) out of (143). The study found that the responses of the sample members of the faculty members were average for the first, third, fourth, and fifth axes, while their responses on the second, sixth, and seventh axes were weaks, and the study found statistically significant differences about the total questionnaire and its axes. At the level (0.05) due to the difference in the position variable, and all of these differences were in favor of those who took an administrative position, and to the presence of statistically significant differences between the responses of the sample members according to the variable of the degree in relation to the total questionnaire, in favor of the professor category.
