Abstract

This study aims to know the effectiveness of using the six Dimensional Strategy among eighth grade’s students in the national and civic education’s subject in government schools at Karak governorate. The two  researchers built the Learning Pleasure Scale, and built a teacher's guide and students handbook;. The study was applied in the first semester of the academic year (2020-2021), on a sample of (143) students, chosen by the intentional method and randomly divided into three groups: the first experimental group was taught by using the six-dimensional strategy (PDEODE), and consisted of (47) students, the second experimental group was taught by using the (SCAMPER) strategy and consisted of (48) students, and the third group is a control group which was taught by using the usual way, and consisted of (48) students. The results of the study showed that there are no statistically significant differences between the domains of learning pleasure scale. the differences are attributed to the teaching method. in favor of SCRAMPER and PDEODE strategies compared to the usual one, and the mastery of PDEODE strategy on SCAMPER strategy as it’s more effective in developing the pleasure of learning. In light of the study’s results, the two researchers recommended to train male and female teachers to employ both PDEODE and SCAMPER strategies to achieve the pleasure of learning for students.
