Abstract

The current research aimed to identify the correlation between systematic intelligence and meta-emotion among a sample of students at the Faculty of Education for Boys (Cairo), Al-AzharUniversity. Furthermore, the study aimed to identify the differences between systemic intelligence and meta-emotion, according to the variable of specialization (science-Arts). In order to achieve the research objectives, the researchers used the following instruments: the systemic intelligence scale for university students which was developed by (Ali, 2020), and the meta-emotion scale among university students that was prepared by (Farrg, 2018). The scales were conducted on the (216) participants of the study that were divided into (108) students from the science specialization, and (108) from the Arts one. For analyzing the research data, the researchers utilized the following statistical methods: Pearson correlation coefficient, and t-test for two independent groups. The research results revealed that there is a positive correlation between systematic intelligence and meta-emotion. There were no statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the science and arts specializations in meta-emotion. There were statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the science and arts specializations in systemic intelligence in favor of the science specialization.
