The Effectiveness of a Training Program Based on the Dimensions of Professional Motivation in Improving Job Satisfaction among Al-Azhar Teachers

Abstract

    The study aimed to verify the effectiveness of a training program based on the dimensions of professional   motivation (enjoyment of career performance- career flexibility- career identity- career adjustment) on improving the of job satisfaction among Al-Azhar teachers. The sample of the study consisted of (24) male and female teachers, who were divided into two groups, an experimental group consisted of (12) male and female teachers, and a control group consisted of (12) male and female teachers. The researcher prepared a training program based on the dimensions of career motivation to improve the level of job satisfaction, the career motivation scale, the job satisfaction scale, and a scale to verify the effectiveness of the experimental treatment. The study showed that there were statistically significant differences between the pre and post two measurements among the experimental group in the total score of job satisfaction in favor of the post measurement, there were statistically significant differences between the pre and post two measurements among the experimental group in the dimensions of job satisfaction (personal satisfaction- social satisfaction- salary satisfaction -work conditions satisfaction) in favor of the post measurement, there were statistically significant differences between the experimental and control two groups in the post measurement of the total score of job satisfaction in favor of the experimental group, and there were statistically significant differences between the experimental and control two groups in the post measurement of the dimensions of job satisfaction in favor of the experimental group, and there were no statistically significant differences between the post and follow- up two measurements among the experimental group in the dimensions of job satisfaction and the total score, which indicates through the results of the study to the effectiveness of the training program in improving the of job satisfaction among Al-Azhar teachers.
