he effects of artificial intelligence on linguistic expressions in Arabic narratives

Linguistic expressions are the backbone of narration, its structure, and the criterion for the reader's acceptance and acceptance of it. This is what makes us prefer to read the narratives of one writer over another. With the emergence of generative artificial intelligence and the progress it has shown in the field of narratives, to the point that it has become faster than the human narrator in producing narrative texts and generating different genres of them in a short time, there has become an urgent need to judge the linguistic expressions in this product, and subject them to the standards of the new narrative; to demonstrate and clarify their efficiency and expressive, communicative, and aesthetic capabilities assigned to them narratively. This is what was done theoretically and practically in this literary research entitled “The Effects of Artificial Intelligence on Linguistic Expressions in Arabic Narration.” He described the mechanism of producing linguistic expressions in artificial intelligence applications, and studied and analyzed the language and narrative expressions in two narrative models produced through the applications (GPT-3, and Chat GPT), and stopped at the linguistic expressions in the narrative pronoun, its verb, the language of the narrative texture, and the energy of the expressive narrative language at the text levels: the textual, lexical, semantic, syntactic, stylistic, grammatical, and orthographic levels. He achieved several results, the most prominent of which is the lack of linguistic expressions in the automated narration produced through artificial intelligence to the standards of narrative language in the new narration.
