The effectiveness of using the green education philosophy to develop financial literacy values and its impact on the consumer behavior of Kindergarten children in light of sustainable development goals.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to identify the effectiveness of using the green education philosophy to develop financial literacy values and its impact on the consumer behavior of Kindergarten children in light of sustainable development goals. The research sample  consisted of)  60) boys and girls children of the second level of Kinder garden , divided into two groups (30) as an experimental group, and(30) as a control group . The research used the experimental method with the experimental and control groups and the application of pre, post and sequentail measurements, in order to identify the effectiveness of the independent variable (the green education philosophy) on the two dependent variables (financial literacy values- the consumer behavior). The researchers used the following tools: the sequential matrices test to measure children's intelligence "John Raven" rationing (Emad Ahmed Hassan, 2016), Illustrated financial literacy values Scale (prepared by the researchers), a note card for the consumer behavior for kindergarten children (prepared by the researchers), a program using the green education philosophy to develop financial literacy values and its impact on the consumer behavior of Kindergarten children in light of sustainable development goals (prepared by the researchers). The results of the research revealed that there are statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the children of the experimental group and the children of the control group in the pre and post measurements on the financial literacy values scale and observation card in favor of the children of the experimental group in the post measurement; Which indicates the effectiveness of using the green education philosophy to develop financial literacy values and its impact on the consumer behavior of Kindergarten children.
