Abstract

This study aimed to highlight the methods and approaches used by the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) in shaping the Muslim individual intellectually and emotionally, in accordance with the changing circumstances of environment, time, place, conditions, and people. This was achieved through a comprehensive divine methodology characterized by moderation and balance, preserving the five fundamental necessities, aligning with natural human disposition (fitrah), and adapting to contemporary realities.
The researcher employed the descriptive-analytical method, which involved tracing and analyzing the verbal and practical prophetic traditions (Hadith) by examining the Prophet’s interactions with his companions and individuals of differing ideologies and cultures. These traditions were then carefully studied to derive the truths, evidences, and educational values they contain, contributing to human development and formation.
The study encompassed several topics and sections, concluding with key findings, the most significant of which is that constructing meaning is more essential than constructing form. Furthermore, many contemporary studies and research on human development attributed to Western thinkers have their roots in the authentic Prophetic Sunnah.
