Proposed software based on pedagogical and technological requirements for the preparation of the Azhari teacher Considering the digital transformation

Abstract

        The research aimed to develop a proposed software based on the educational and technological requirements necessary for the preparation of the Azhari teacher in light of the digital transformation; by identifying the requirements for achieving digital transformation in university education, the most important implications of the digital transformation on teacher preparation in faculties of education, the reality of teacher preparation at the Faculty of Education at Al-Azhar University in light of the implications of the digital transformation, and revealing the most important educational and technological requirements necessary for the preparation of the Azhari teacher in light of the implications of the digital transformation from the viewpoint of the sample members, the research aimed to provide some proposals and recommendations that can contribute to providing the requirements The research used the descriptive method, and the questionnaire was used as a tool to collect data for the field study. The questionnaire included (100) statements expressing the educational and technological requirements for the preparation of the Azhari teacher considering the digital transformation. The questionnaire was applied to a sample of (240) faculty members at the Faculty of Education - Al-Azhar University.
The results of the research revealed that the sample members of the faculty of education at Al-Azhar University agreed on the degree of importance (high) on the statements of the nine axes that make up the tool, namely the axes of: Organisational, administrative and financial requirements, technological and technical requirements, requirements related to faculty members, requirements related to student teachers, requirements related to programmes and courses, requirements related to teaching and educational activities, requirements related to the culture of digital transformation, requirements related to field training, and requirements related to the evaluation and testing system. In light of the results of the statistical analysis, a proposed software based on the educational and technological requirements for the preparation of the Azhari teacher in light of the digital transformation included in the research, and the research recommended the need to pay attention to the preparation of the Azhari teacher and develop his preparation and training programmes to keep pace with the developments of the current digital era.
