Abstract

The aim of the current research is to identify the level of Attitude towards using artificial intelligence applications and its relationship to research competence and academic perseverance among a sample of members of the adjunct staff at Al-Azhar University. The researchers used the descriptive and analytical method, and the research sample consisted of (200) members of the adjunct staff at Al-Azhar University in the semester. The first of the academic year 2023/2024 AD, and the researchers used a measure of the Attitude towards using artificial intelligence applications (prepared by the researchers), a measure of research efficiency (prepared by the researchers), and a measure of academic perseverance (prepared by the researchers), and the research results concluded that the level of Attitude towards using artificial intelligence applications Among the members of the supporting staff at Al-Azhar University is high, and there are statistically significant differences between the average scores of the members of the supporting staff at Al-Azhar University on the scale of the Attitude towards using artificial intelligence applications (total score and dimensions) due to the gender variable in favor of (males), and there are statistically significant differences between The average scores of the members of the supporting staff at Al-Azhar University on the scale of the Attitude towards using artificial intelligence applications (total score and dimensions) are due to the college type variable in favor of (theoretical colleges), and there are statistically significant differences between the average scores of the members of the supporting staff at Al-Azhar University on the scale of the Attitude towards using Artificial intelligence applications (total score, dimensions) are attributed to the academic degree variable in favor of the (assistant teacher) degree, and there is a statistically significant positive correlation between the Attitude towards using artificial intelligence applications (total score, dimensions) and research competence (total score, dimensions) among members of The assistant body at Al-Azhar University, and that the Attitude towards using artificial intelligence applications can be predicted by the scores of the members of the assistant body at Al-Azhar University on the research efficiency scale, and that the dimensions of research efficiency that most contributed to predicting the Attitude towards using artificial intelligence applications were in the following order (research efficiency - efficiency Communicative - moral competence), and the existence of a positive, statistically significant correlation between the Attitude towards using artificial intelligence applications (total score, dimensions) and academic perseverance (total score, dimensions) among members of the assistant staff at Al-Azhar University, and that the trend towards using artificial intelligence applications can be predicted from During the scores of the members of the assistant staff at Al-Azhar University on the academic perseverance scale, the most contributing dimensions of academic perseverance in predicting the Attitude towards using artificial intelligence applications were in the following order (challenge and determination - patience and endurance - independence and mastery – curiosity).
