Abstract
Man is the maker of civilization, and there is no way for man to progress or prosper except through education. Education is the substance of civilization and its fuel that ignites it to illuminate the paths of man's life; however, in his journey through this life, man faces many challenges that hinder him from progressing and continuing. These challenges may be - on the surface - causes and manifestations of civilization, such as technological progress, artificial intelligence, the digital revolution, and the knowledge explosion. These challenges have effects and repercussions on the individual, family, and society, which requires educators, leaders, thinkers, philosophers, and reformers to develop an educational vision that helps man navigate this life and reach the pinnacle of civilizational, spiritual, moral, and scientific renaissance.
This research came to solve this problem, and to put forward a proposed educational vision for what education needs in the world of tomorrow, and what might help it achieve its humanity that has been absent from it for periods of time. The research came in four main axes, which are:
The first axis: The role of education in empowering man in the changing world.
The second axis: The usefulness of philosophy in educating man, and the most important contemporary philosophical views.
The third axis: The most important contemporary challenges facing education in a changing world.
The fourth axis: The proposed educational vision that contributes to educating man for a changing world.
The researcher used the philosophical approach with its analytical and synthetic aspects, and what it includes in terms of techniques of criticism, comparison, and interpretation, and recomposing elements in new formulations in order to bring philosophies closer together, and to show the most important recommendations and principles that contribute to the movement of education and the management of its affairs in a continuously changing society.
The research reached an educational vision of what education needs in the world of tomorrow, and among its components and elements were: rooting the Islamic reference in theory and practice, building the free, mature, educated person, eradicating illiteracy and achieving cultural and civilizational identity, providing the standard and spiritual and moral alternative to the chaos of progress, scientific and skill foundation for the challenges of industrial revolutions, affirming and deepening the concepts of rapprochement and solidarity between individuals, groups and peoples, and instilling the principles of continuous lifelong learning in the souls of the next generation.
