The repercussions of the Fifth Industrial Revolution on the philosophy of child rearing "a proposed educational vision"

Abstract

The current research aimed to analyze the philosophical frameworks and literature related to the concept of the "Fifth Industrial Revolution" and its goals and objectives that it seeks to achieve; to extract and consolidate the privileges, practices and requirements that result from it, as one of the modern educational variables affecting and supporting the philosophy of child rearing development, enabling them to respond and adapt to its variables. To achieve this, the forward-looking approach was used to anticipate the future and its modern trends, the study used the descriptive analytical approach to identify concepts, dimensions and reflections. The Fifth Industrial Revolution in the specialized literature, linking it to the philosophy of the child-rearing system and the elements of the entire educational process, A questionnaire was used containing the vision presented towards the roles and practices the child rearing system should be through a set of its constituent elements forming the axes of the questionnaire, represented in "philosophy, objectives, teacher, learner, learning environment, curriculum, activities and teaching methods", based on the privileges and repercussions of the Fifth Industrial Revolution, and the opinion of a random sample of education experts was taken towards the importance of that proposed educational vision to stand on its final form. One of the most important results reached was to present a proposed vision on the dimensions of the child-rearing system and what those dimensions should be considering those repercussions related to the Fifth Industrial Revolution, ending with a set of recommendations and proposals that can contribute to upgrading the child-rearing system considering that revolution.
