A proposed vision to benefit from aspects of educational renewal in the writings of Muhammad Ahmad Al-Ghannam (1928-1983)

Abstract

             Educational renewal is the essence of the process of renewal in the entire society. The term “educational renewal” was the starting point for most of Al-Ghannam’s writings (1928-1983), as a motive and purpose. The aim of the current research is to attempt to present a proposed vision to benefit from aspects of educational innovation in the writings of The research used the historical & descriptive method. The research presented a proposed vision to benefit from Al-Ghannam’s aspects of educational renewal in six aspects: novelty of educational concepts, administrative renewal, renewal of higher education systems, the renewed role of colleges of education, educational research, and improving the educational system. he research also reached several conclusions, including: Al-Ghanam’s renewal philosophy was characterized by the depth of study and analysis of reality, and the departure from it for the better; He was closely following reality and publishing many of his ideas revealing his interest in innovation in aspects of education. Al-Ghannam also adopted, in his vision for the future of Arab education, a strategy of comprehensive educational renewal. Meaning that education becomes education for all, an advanced, productive, democratic, sustainable Arab education.
