A Proposed Vision for Developing Professional Development Programs for Teachers of AL-Azhar Institutes in Light of the Digital Age

Abstract

The research aimed to identify the theoretical and philosophical foundations for the professional development of teachers, and to identify the requirements of the digital age, and the extent to which it is used in the professional development of teachers, in order to present a proposed vision for the development of professional development programs for teachers of Al-Azhar institutes in the light of the digital age, The research relied on the use of the descriptive approach, and a questionnaire was used for teachers of Al-Azhar institutes, and it amounted to about (400) male and female teachers, at the level of Al-Azhar regions, and statistical treatment was carried out through the program (SP V.18.(
   The research concluded that there are some shortcomings in the professional development programs for teachers of Al-Azhar institutes, represented in the lack of consideration of the training needs of teachers, the scarcity of interest in the techniques of the digital age, and the lack of a constantly updated database for professional development programs. Light of the digital age.
