Participatory Efforts Between Educational and Production Institutions and Their Relationship to The Labor Market

Abstract

The study aimed to activate partnership efforts between educational institutions and production institutions and its relationship to the labor market, which was represented in activating: (the training field of the partnership, activating the advisory and knowledge field of the partnership, activating the marketing field of the partnership). The study was concerned with employing the work model with the organization’s community to activate the institutional partnership between educational institutions. Technical and productive institutions to meet the needs of the labor market. The study also paid attention to each item of the selected sample, in terms of its circumstances and the changes that occurred to it before, during, and after the process of professional intervention. This study is classified as research on estimating the return of vocational intervention, as it relied on the experimental approach, which included testing the “independent variable,” represented by the collaborative efforts between educational and production institutions, on the “dependent variable,” which is meeting the needs of the labor market.
Interest in technical education is considered a good investment for the future. The importance of technical education has increased recently in response to the inevitable necessities imposed by contemporary global challenges, which require atypical specializations to meet the requirements of the labor market in the era of globalization. Therefore, interest in technical education has become one of the priorities that must be set by the Ministry of Education. And education in Egypt. From this standpoint, various types of technical education schools were established in order to prepare the technical category in the fields of industry, agriculture, commerce, management, and services. Technical schools were established with specific specifications in accordance with the requirements of development plans and local conditions. Technical schools also undertake production projects related to their specialization, and serve the environment. And the community within each governorate
In line with the objectives and hypotheses of the study, two groups were used in the research, one control and the other experimental, and pre- and post-measurement was applied to the two groups. Accordingly, (30) participants were chosen, and they were selected by a simple random method from among the workers at the Scientific and Technological Complex in Assiut. The University of Technology in New Assiut, and the Labor Directorate in Assiut.
