Abstract

The study aimed to verify the degree to which Islamic education teachers at the intermediate stage in the cities of Abha and Al-Baha were able to handle contemporary financial transactions. The researcher used the descriptive method. The researcher built a questionnaire on the most important contemporary financial transactions to verify the degree of mastery of them by the study sample. The financial transactions reached and included in the tool amounted to (49) contemporary financial transactions. The most important findings of the study are the following: 1-The general average for the axis of the degree of mastery of the rulings on transactions related to money was (3.12), and it was of a moderate degree. Among the rulings on transactions related to contracts, companies, and sales (2.53) and to a small extent. Among the provisions for transactions related to stocks and bonds. (2.52), and to a small degree. Among the rulings on transactions related to banks and banks (2.72), with a moderate degree. Among the rulings on transactions related to insurance, trademarks, and intellectual property (2.64), with a moderate degree. 2- The overall average of the five axes of the tool was (2.68), with a moderate degree.  3- The study also found that the degree to which Islamic education teachers at the intermediate stage in the cities of Abha and Al-Baha were able to understand the provisions of contemporary financial transactions did not differ according to their place of work. The results also showed that the degree of mastery of teachers with more than twenty years of experience in money judgments was better than that of teachers with less than twenty years of experience. The researcher recommended many recommendations, the most important of which are the following:   Incorporating the provisions of contemporary financial transactions into training programs for Islamic education teachers in general education schools.  He also presented some suggestions, the most important of which are the following: Conducting a study showing the impact of a proposed training program on developing the rulings on financial transactions among Islamic education teachers in the middle stage
