Abstract

The study aimed to identify the relationship between digital transformation anxiety and the quality of academic life among university students in light of the gender and rate variables. The sample consisted of (228) male and female students from the University of Hafr Al-Batin from various academic disciplines. The study used both (Digital Transformation Scale (DTSS)) And (the Quality of University Life Scale), after calculating their validity and reliability, the results indicated that the students have a moderate degree of anxiety about digital transformation and a high degree of the quality of academic life at the level of the total score of the scale or its items. The results of the t-test indicated that females have a greater degree of anxiety. Digital transformation compared to males, and the (F) test values showed that there were no statistically significant differences in the quality of academic life due to the rate variable, and the presence of a weak direct relationship with statistical significance at the level (α = 0.05) between the dimension (academic self-efficacy) and the digital transformation anxiety scale. That is, the greater the value of academic self-efficacy, the greater the student’s level of digital transformation anxiety, while the relationship between the rest of the dimensions of the quality of life scale (academic satisfaction, academic time management, academic support services) and his total score with the digital transformation anxiety scale was a positive relationship that ranged Between (0.017 - 0.125), which are weak values and not statistically significant, as the researcher recommends conducting more research on the topic of digital transformation anxiety and linking this topic to other psychological variables, especially since we are experiencing this transformation steadily and continuously.
