The Effectiveness of Brainstorming Strategy in Teaching Physics to Development Future Thinking Skills For 9th Grade Students

Abstract

                    The study aimed determining the effectiveness of brainstorming strategy in teaching physics to development future thinking skills for 9th grade students. The study applied the measure of the future thinking skills to a random sample contains (64) students in 9th grade, divided into experimental group contains (32) students and control group contains (32) students. The results showed statistically significant differences between the two groups, experimental and control on the measure of future thinking skills in favorite for the experimental group. There are also statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the experimental group in the pre application and their mean scores in the post application of the future thinking skills in favor of the post application, demonstrating the effect of the experimental strategy. The study recommended to apply brainstorming strategy in teaching physics, and to conducting studies to development future thinking.
