Administrative Creativity Development among Saudi University Leaders in Light of Creative Leadership -A Case Study of Shaqra University-

Abstract

            This current study aims to investigate the reality of administrative creativity among university leaders at Shaqra University in the context of creative leadership. It seeks to identify the obstacles to administrative creativity among university leaders at Shaqra University in the light of creative leadership and propose necessary recommendations to achieve administrative creativity among university leaders at Shaqra University within the framework of creative leadership. The researcher employed the descriptive survey method, and the study sample included 266 faculty members. The survey was utilized as a data collection tool. The study results indicate that the current state of administrative creativity among university leaders at Shaqra University is low, while the obstacles to achieving administrative creativity are high. The proposed recommendations for achieving administrative creativity among university leaders at Shaqra University within the framework of creative leadership are also high. The study recommends several actions, including updating job descriptions for administrative positions and senior leadership, conducting training programs to equip university leaders with skills in creative leadership, promoting a culture of creativity within the university, and encouraging university staff to propose new ideas.
