Abstract

Educational equity holds a pivotal place in both general and -level education, especially within the framework of Islamic education. Given its profound implications for individual stability and societal well-being, this topic demands comprehensive research and extensive deliberation. It is universally acknowledged that educational equity is an inherent entitlement for every student. Consequently, the present study endeavors to delve into the significance of educational equity within the context of Islamic education. Additionally, it aims to discern the barriers obstructing the attainment of this equity and to propose viable methods to foster it in both general and university-level education. To achieve these objectives, a descriptive methodology was employed. The findings underscore the pivotal role of equity in Islamic education, particularly in resolving conflicts and disputes that may arise during the educational process. Furthermore, it serves as a catalyst for motivating learners to aspire to multifarious positive outcomes in their lives. Establishing an enriching educational milieu becomes imperative to facilitate learners' growth in a nurturing environment, shielded from challenges and psychological strains. This, in turn, augments the overall efficacy of the educational process. In addition, accentuating the principles of reward and consequence assumes a pivotal role in cultivating educational equity within the scope of Islamic education. Educators, through contextual practices, strive to comprehend the nuances and settings surrounding various actions. Thereafter, they judiciously evaluate the fitting level of reward or consequence commensurate with the circumstances. This practice acknowledges that such judgments are not rigid but relative, adapting to the dynamics of each unique situation.
