A Proposed Perspective for Implementing Inclusive Education for Children with Disabilities in Early Childhood Education

Abstract

This study aimed to present a proposed perspective for implementing inclusive education for children with disabilities in early childhood education. The research utilized a descriptive methodology, encompassing a general framework and addressing the conceptual framework of inclusive education in early childhood, emphasizing the importance and justifications for implementing inclusive education for children with disabilities in early childhood. The study highlighted the main challenges of implementing inclusive education in early childhood and outlined the features of the proposed perspective to enhance the application of inclusive education in early childhood. The study results indicated that inclusive education can be implemented in early childhood through various dimensions, including developing the proposed organizational structure for kindergartens, expanding kindergarten facilities, enhancing the criteria for selecting and training staff, establishing and training kindergarten staff based on the proposed perspective, developing inclusive education goals for children with disabilities in early childhood, adopting inclusive education patterns in line with the proposed perspective, activating the foundations of disability education in Islam, expanding services for individuals with disabilities in the educational field, qualifying and empowering teachers with disabilities to possess the required skills for teaching individuals with disabilities, developing funding sources for kindergartens that adopt inclusive education, activating the requirements of the integration process, and enhancing the learning environment in early childhood according to the proposed perspective.
