A Proposed Initiative from the Perspective of General Practice in Social Work to Enhance Planning Skills for Social Workers in the Labor Field

Abstract

                        The study aimed to develop a proposed vision from the perspective of general practice in social service to enhance the planning skills of social workers working in the labor field, The study relied on the social survey approach, and used a questionnaire form applied to all (35) social workers working at Assiut Oil Refining Company, The results of the study revealed that the responses of social workers working in the labor field regarding communication skills were high, with an average of (2.81), The responses of social workers working in the labor field regarding the skill of assessing needs were high with an average of (2.78), and that the responses of social workers working in the labor field regarding the skill of teamwork were high with an average of (2.79), and that the responses of social workers working in the labor field regarding the skill of optimal use of resources were high with an average of (2.80), and that the responses of social workers working in the labor field regarding the skill of collecting data were high with an average of (2.83), and that the responses of social workers working in the labor field regarding the obstacles to enhancing planning skills were high with an average of (2.78) and a standard deviation of (0.530), The study also developed a proposed vision from the perspective of general practice in social service to enhance the planning skills of social workers working in the labor field.
