The research dealt with the most important realistic roles of the National Council for Women in achieving social protection for Upper Egypt women, highlighting the most important challenges that prevent the achievement of social protection for Upper Egypt women, and defining the role of the National Council for Women in Minya Governorate. The research was applied to (230) individuals, which represented a sample of beneficiaries who were hesitant to The National Council for Women in Minya, and the results of the research concluded that the National Council for Women in Minya has played its role in achieving social protection for Upper Egypt women to a high degree in the aspect of providing legal advice to protect women from violence, and organizing educational seminars in the field of protecting women from violence, as well as helping women obtain Their rights, and the Council also provides productive projects that suit women’s needs. The Council cares about divorced women and widows in its projects and services. The Council also helps women find a suitable source of income for themselves and their families, and women participate in training programs to develop their capabilities and raise their skills, and organize various workshops to train women in carpets, kilims, and crafts. Handmade. The results of the research also showed that there are many challenges that prevent the achievement of social protection for Upper Egypt women, the most important of which are the presence of Upper Egypt customs and traditions that limit women’s participation, the lack of a stable income for women that meets the needs of them and their families, the insufficient return of the council’s projects for the family’s needs, and the weakness of The expertise of the Council’s legal consultants, and the complexity of routine procedures in women’s access to their services. The research aims to identify the most important realistic roles of the National Council for Women in achieving social protection for Upper Egypt women, the most important challenges that prevent the achievement of social protection for Upper Egypt women, and an attempt to come up with a set of proposals to activate the role of the National Council for Women in achieving social protection for Upper Egypt women. This research belongs to descriptive research. The researcher used the descriptive method. The research was applied to (230) individuals, a sample of beneficiaries who frequented the National Council for Women in Minya. The data collection tool was used, which was a questionnaire form that was applied to beneficiaries who frequented the National Council for Women in Minya, with the aim of revealing the reality of the roles of the National Council for Women in achieving aspects of social protection for Upper Egypt women.
