The effectiveness of development projects in local communities considering national initiatives

Abstract

Development projects are considered an essential and one of the most important means of developing societies to confront,
Its problems are that in light of the scarcity and lack of resources, development projects have become a more important role and the transformation of ideas into a tangible reality, in addition to the transition of societies from one situation to a better one, whether done at the local or national level, The projects are based on a set of methods, tools, tests and scientific foundations that work on knowledge, The correct way to evaluate the success or failure of these development projects; Therefore, the state began to strive to find the best ways and means that would bring people to safety, guarantee them a decent life, and enhance their social performance through national initiatives, of which a decent life is considered one of these initiatives, The current study aims to determine the level of effectiveness of development projects in local communities in light of the Decent Life Initiative, This study belongs to the type of evaluation studies, It also relied on the social survey method using the sample method and the case study method, The scale was used as a tool for collecting data and information.                                                      
               The results of the study concluded that the most important infrastructure project for Decent Life is the establishment of an integrated services complex in the village, The most important economic projects are providing assistance to girls about to get married, The most important educational projects are the maintenance and restoration of some schools in the village, Providing schools for various stages and the most important health projects are the implementation of integrated health care programmers, Providing a medical clinic; Renovation and replacement of rural health units.
