Abstract

The study aimed to identify the digital culture skills (research, thinking and problem-solving skills, communication, cooperation and participation skills, creativity and innovation skills, life skills such as flexibility and adaptability, self-learning and independence skills, security and privacy skills) among Primary Grades Children in the distance learning from  their Parents’ Perspective, and finding the statistically significant differences between the responses of the study sample members due to the two variables  of the study. This study relied on the descriptive approach, the researcher prepared a questionnaire that was applied to a sample of (381) parents of Primary Grades Children in Hail region.
The result of the study showed that the members of the study sample agree to some extent to the availability of the six skills of their children in the distance education, it also showed that there are no statistically significant differences between the average responses of the members of the study sample regarding the digital culture skills of Primary Grades Children in the distance learning due to the two variables (the educational level of the Parents and the school stage of the child). The study also made several recommendations, the most important of which are: the need to enhance children's self-assessment skills, especially those related to digital content, providing simulation models to summarize information during research in electronic sources, the need to encourage children to use presentation software continuously, and conducting training courses and awareness programs for parents on the importance of digital culture for Primary Grades Children.
