Psychometric characteristics of the Psychological flow scale among Secondary stage students at Sabia education

Abstract

      The current study aimed to verify the psychometric properties of the Psychological Flow Scale among secondary school students in Sabya education, through a sample of (113) students in the secondary stage in Sabya education. The exploratory factor analysis method was used to test the factorial structure, which resulted in six dimensions of the scale, which are the clear objectives. , facing challenges, focusing attention, integrating into the task, feedback, losing time, and validity was calculated using the content validity method and factor validity in order to ensure the validity of the scale. The scale’s reliability indicators were also verified by calculating the Cronbach’s alpha coefficient, where the value of Cronbach’s alpha was For the dimension of clear goals (0.892), for the dimension of facing challenges (0.877), for the dimension of focusing attention (0.863), for the dimension of integration in the task (0.863), for the dimension of feedback (0.866), for the dimension of loss of time (0.722), for the scale as a whole (0.973), and for reliability. By dividing in half for the same dimensions and the scale as a whole, respectively (0.860, 0.872, 0.833, 0.853, 0.853, 0.748, 0.950).
