Predicting Of Academic Buoyancy Through Cognitive Agility and Emotional Stability Among Expatriate Students at Al-Azhar University

Abstract

            The goal of the current research is to reveal the relationship between academic buoyancy and cognitive agility on the one hand, and academic buoyancy and emotional Stability on the other hand, and the extent to which academic buoyancy can be predicted from cognitive agility and emotional Stability, individually and together, and to reveal the differences between males and females in both academic Buoyancy and cognitive agility, And emotional Stability, and (422) expatriates students at Al-Azhar University participated in the research. The research tools were: the Academic Buoyancy Scale, the Cognitive Agility Scale, and the Emotional Stability Scale, all of which were prepared by the researcher, and using the following statistical methods: Pearson correlation coefficient, simple and multiple stepwise regression analysis, and a t-test for two independent samples The research results resulted in: the existence of a relationship A positive  correlation between academic buoyancy and cognitive agility. Also, there is a positive correlation between academic buoyancy and emotional Stability, and it also resulted in the possibility of predicting academic buoyancy from cognitive agility and emotional Stability, individually or together. The results also showed that there are no statistically significant differences between the average scores of males and females in each of academic buoyancy, cognitive agility, and emotional Stability. The research results were discussed in light of the basic concepts and previous  researches.
