Abstract

The study aimed to reveal the most important recent trends related to the academic performance of faculty members. And to find out the requirements that must be met in order to improve the academic performance of the faculty members in the faculties of education in the light of recent trends. Improving the academic performance of faculty members in the faculties of education in the light of recent trends, the study according to the requirements. (20) I am interested in the study of the principles of education in Egypt and the study found five recent trends to develop the academic performance of faculty members: digital transformation, University twinning, the approach to total quality management, open learning and distance learning formulas, and the pioneering university. Teaching and the ability to develop them using modern teaching strategies. Developing the skills of using modern evaluation methods and employing them in developing examination systems. Achieving quality of life and enhancing job satisfaction by providing material, moral, health and entertainment needs. Developing the skills of directing students towards self-learning. Practicing new roles capable of dealing with the data of the fourth industrial revolution, and (10) special requirements for scientific research, the most important of which are: Subscribe to the rules and sources of global information networks. Enhancing technological skills to allow the exchange of knowledge and information in light of the new competition. Linking the material return with scientific production and improving the quality of the output, and (12) requirements for community service, the most important of which are: the college’s cooperation with international organizations and institutions of the international community by providing joint educational grants. Formulating a future vision for the performance of faculty members based on national characteristics and strategies. Forming joint research teams to study social problems between the joint colleges.
