Abstract

This study aims to reveal the general characteristic of the Character traits necessary for the success of Arabic secondary school in the city of N'Djamena from the point of view of a sample of students in the fifth district. It also aims to know the degree of dominance of the dimensions of Character traits and a number of variables, namely the gender variable (male/female), the academic course variable (scientific/literary), the academic semester variable (first secondary, second secondary, and third secondary), and the family economic income variable (low, Medium, high), the father’s educational level variable (illiterate, studied Qur’anic science, primary, middle, secondary, university, post-university) and the mother’s educational level variable (illiterate, studied Qur’anic science, primary, middle, secondary, university, post-university), And the environmental background variable (from the desert, from cities outside the capital, grew up in the capital). The researchers followed the descriptive approach to describe the Character traits necessary for the success of Arabic school teachers at the secondary level in the city of N'Djamena, Chad. The research community consisted of (2269) male and female students. The researchers designed a questionnaire to measure the personal qualities necessary for Arab secondary school teachers. It included four axes: physical qualities, cognitive qualities, professional qualities, and moral qualities. It included (44) items in its initial form, and was then presented to a number of arbitrators in education and psychology. The researchers selected a sample of (216) male and female students (9.5%) by stratified random method. To analyze the data, the researcher used the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) using a one-sample t-test, a two-sample t-test, a two-sample t-test, the Mann-Whitney equation, and the Kreskal-Wells equation. The study reached several results, including: The character necessary for the success of Arabic secondary school teachers in the city of N'Djamena, Chad prevails to varying degrees, and there are statistically significant differences at the level (0.05) in the responses of the study sample in the availability of the Character traits necessary for the success of Arabic secondary school teachers in the city of N'Djamena, Chad, due to the gender variable (male/female) in favor of (Females), and there were no statistically significant differences at the level (0.05) in the responses of the study sample regarding the availability of the Character traits necessary for the success of Arabic secondary school teachers in the city of N’Djamena, Chad, due to the academic course variable.
