The study used the descriptive method, and the study's tool was a survey which was directed to some faculty members at Al-Azhar university who worked in religion sciences, human sciences, medical sciences, engineering and basic sciences. The study indicated that all the requirements for applying Al- Azhar university's role in developing the labor market skills for students were really important. The responses of people who participated in the survey indicated that the most important requirements according to the relative weight were: reviewing the university's objectives continually to meet labor market needs, build and reinforce self-confidence in students , make sure that the curriculums and the programs have flexibility to stay current with technology trends , and the activities should be beneficial that develop students' skills. The study results also indicated that there were no statistically significant differences between the responses of the sample members regarding the importance degree of the requirements for developing the skills necessary for the labor market among students due to the specialization variable (theoretical - practical), however there were differences in gender (males – females) in favor of females, and there were also differences in job description (teacher - professor -  assistant professor) in favor of teacher. The researcher submitted recommendations that could benefit decision makers in Al- Azhar university which would develop the labor market skills for students in light of fourth industrial revolution to fully prepare fresh graduates who have skills that enable them to compete in national and international labor market.
