Proposed conception of the history curriculum for secondary school in the light of the concept of internationalization of education

Abstract

      The current research aimed at developing a proposed vision of the history curriculum for secondary school in the light of the concept of internationalization of education A list of themes of an international and global dimension that should be included in the history curricula of the secondary level has been made. and the content of the secondary school history curricula has been analyzed to demonstrate the availability of international subjects, The results of the analysis found that subjects with an international dimension were high in the history curriculum for the first grade of secondary school, where they were 71%, due to the inclusion of the content of the first-grade secondary curriculum for many subjects related to the international and global dimension and communication with other civilizations, while the international-dimensional subjects came at a low rate in the second-grade history curriculum. (31%), due to the lack of inclusion in the second-grade secondary history curriculum of subjects with an international dimension; Subjects of a low international dimension in the history curriculum of the third grade of secondary school were 18.3% due to the lack of inclusion of the Alta curriculum Includes one first-grade secondary, two second-grade secondary and three third-grade secondary units.
