Soft Skills and Their Relationship to Excellence Performance Excellence of Umm Al-Qura University Employees

Abstract

The study aimed to assess the availability of soft skills in the performance of Umm Al-Qura University employees and determine the level of their job performance excellence. It also aimed to investigate the correlational relationship between these factors. The study employed a descriptive correlational approach and utilized a questionnaire as the research tool. The questionnaire was administered to a random sample of 267 male and female employees at Umm Al-Qura University. The results indicated that, from the perspective of the study participants, the availability of soft skills in the performance of Umm Al-Qura University employees was of moderate level. Furthermore, the level of job performance excellence among them was high. The study also revealed a statistically significant positive correlational relationship at the 0.01 level between the availability of soft skills and the level of job performance excellence among Umm Al-Qura University employees, as perceived by the employees themselves.
