Abstract

The study aimed to investigate the role of strategic vigilance in supporting entrepreneurial performance in emerging Saudi universities from the perspective of academic leaders. To achieve this objective, a descriptive-analytical methodology was employed, with the researcher using a questionnaire to collect primary data. The study's population consisted of academic leaders (Deans, Vice Deans, Department Chairs, and Department Supervisors), and the sample was randomly selected from this population, totaling 65 individuals. The study yielded several notable results, including a very high level of strategic vigilance in Saudi universities. It also revealed the existence of positive correlations between the strategic vigilance of academic leaders and entrepreneurial performance at both the dimension and overall level. The correlation coefficients ranged from 0.30 to 0.989 for various dimensions and the overall level, all of which were statistically significant. This underscores the role of strategic vigilance in supporting entrepreneurial performance in Saudi universities.
