A Suggested Proposal for Strategic Performance Management at Al-Azhar University

Abstract

The study aimed to develop a suggested proposal for strategic performance management at Al-Azhar University. The study employed a descriptive methodology, presenting a theoretical framework on strategic performance management and analyzing the current status of strategic planning and strategic performance management efforts at Al-Azhar University. The Delphi method was used, and it was administered to a sample of 31 experts to identify the requirements of strategic performance management at Al-Azhar University. The study presented a suggested proposal for strategic performance management at Al-Azhar University, consisting of two stages for managing strategic performance. The first stage involved understanding and elucidating the environmental context of the university. The second stage encompassed the dimensions of strategic performance management, which consisted of four dimensions: the first dimension involved strategic performance planning, the second dimension focused on organizing strategic performance, the third dimension addressed directing strategic performance, and the fourth dimension emphasized evaluating strategic performance. This suggested proposal is aimed at contributing to achieving the university's strategic direction.
