The Effectiveness of the Interactive Digital Story in Developing some Concepts of the Islamic Religious Education among the Primary Stage Pupils

Abstract

Abstract                                                                                                    The present research aimed at exploring the effectiveness of the interactive digital story in developing some concepts of the Islamic religious education among the primary stage pupils. For achieving this purpose, some interactive digital stories were designed in the light of the design criteria that were designed. Participants of this research consisted of (60) pupils from grade four at the primary stage, who were divided into two groups, an experimental group with (30) pupils and a control one with (30) pupils. Two instrument was constructed: (1)A tool for analyzing the content, (2) An Islamic religious education concepts' test,  The research adopted the analytical descriptive approach and the quasi-experimental design. Results of the research revealed the effectiveness of the interactive digital story in developing some concepts of the Islamic religious education among the primary stage pupils. The research recommended the necessity of expanding the presentation of the concepts of Islamic religious education in a way that attracts students' attention. The interactive digital stories should be used as a framework for developing the concepts of the Islamic religious education. Moreover, the Islamic religious education teachers should be trained on the diversity of using various educational means and the recent methods that contribute in achieving the desired educational goals.
