Internationalizing Technical Education Curricula in Egypt in Light of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and the Requirements of the Labor Market: An Analytical Study

Abstract

  This research aimed to identify the strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities of industrial technical secondary education and to propose a conceptual framework for its internationalization. Additionally, it aimed to determine the requirements for the internationalization of industrial technical secondary education and its curriculum in the context of the fourth industrial revolution and the needs of the labor market. The research employed an analytical descriptive research method, which involved reviewing and analyzing previous literature and providing theoretical foundations for the concepts of internationalization and the fourth industrial revolution. It also examined the relationship between the internationalization of industrial technical secondary education and the labor market. The research concluded by identifying the requirements of the fourth industrial revolution and the labor market, and presenting procedural proposals for the internationalization of the curriculum in industrial technical secondary education, taking into account the fourth industrial revolution and the needs of the labor market.
