Internationalization of Higher Education: A Gateway to Achieving Sustainable Development Goals

Abstract

  The research aimed to develop a perception to achieve sustainable development goals based on internationalization of university education model, by revising the sustainable development goals, especially those related to the education aspect. The research relied on the descriptive approach to describe and analyze the sustainable development goals. The research reached important results, including: The internationalization of university education is an important factor for achieving sustainable development goals, in addition to contributing greatly to achieve its prestigious position. Moreover, the internationalization of university education in developing countries may allow achieving a great deal of competition with universities of developed countries and attracting many international students.
