The differences in perceived stigma according to gender and level of education among basic education students with special needs

Abstract

The aim of the current study is to identify the differences in the total degree of perceived stigma according to gender (male-female) and according to the type of education (primary, preparatory). The Arab Republic of Egypt in Al-Jazeera Al-Qibliya Primary School, Al-Shorouk Preparatory Joint School, Al-Shahid Salah Al-Jami’i Preparatory School for Girls, Al-Shahid Ehab Yousry Hendan Primary School, Tariq Bin Ziyad Preparatory School for Boys, Othman Bin Affan Primary School, and the Martyr Muhammad Hassan Al-Jayar Preparatory School for Girls, and the ages ranged These students, to whom the researcher applied the stigma scale between (10:15) years, and the current study used the descriptive correlative approach because it is most appropriate for the current study. The results of the current study reached several results, the most important of which is the presence of statistically significant differences in the total degree of perceived stigma in favor of females compared to males.
