A proposed Islamic educational vision to enhance the role of the family in the proper handling of electronic games by students of the first cycle of basic education

Abstract

The study aimed to develop a proposed Islamic educational vision to enhance the role of the family in the proper dealing of students in the first stage of basic education with electronic games, by standing on the Islamic view of play, and the study used the fundamentalist approach in order to benefit from it in defining the features of play in Islam, through Collecting texts related to it from the Holy Qur’an and the purified Sunnah of the Prophet, knowing the implications of the texts by referring to the books of interpretation, hadith books, and language dictionaries, and understanding the righteous predecessors of these texts and their application to them. Games in general, and electronic games in particular. The study revealed that electronic games have many characteristics that distinguish them from other games. Therefore, it attracts children to it greatly, as it revealed its positive and negative effects on children, and highlighted the challenges that prevent the family from playing its optimal role in protecting children from the dangers of electronic games, and also showed the reality of the role of the family in dealing with students with electronic games, and concluded that the family is The first incubator for children, and it is considered one of the effective institutions that must achieve electronic security for its children.
