Existential intelligence and its relationship to wisdom among a sample of Al-Azhar University students

Abstract

The aim of the current research is to identify the relationship between existential intelligence and wisdom among a sample of Al-Azhar University students, the research sample consisted of (140) male and female students from the College of Education and the College of Human Studies in Dakahlia - Al-Azhar University for the academic year (2020-2021).  The male sample consisted of (70) students from the Faculty of Education in Dakahlia, and the female sample consisted of (70) female students from the Faculty of Human Studies in Dakahlia. Their chronological age ranged between (214-228) months, and their average age was (220) months, with a standard deviation of (1.40).Where the researchers applied to them the scale of existential intelligence (prepared by researchers), and the scale of wisdom (prepared by researchers),), and using statistical methods (Pearson correlation coefficient, t-test, and multiple regression analysis coefficient) the results of the research concluded that there is a positive, statistically significant relationship between existential intelligence and wisdom among Al-Azhar University students.And there are statistically significant differences in existential intelligence due to the gender variable (male-female) among Al-Azhar University students in favor of females.And there are statistically significant differences in wisdom due to the gender variable (male-female) among Al-Azhar University students in favor of females.Wisdom can also be predicted through existential intelligence.
