Abstract

The current study aims to Strengthen the values ​​of citizenship to confront the societal conflicts surrounding the school community For a sample of students in the second cycle of basic education, Thus, the efforts of the method of working with groups through the vocational intervention program in this study seek to achieve a main goal, which is " Strengthen the values ​​of citizenship to mitigate societal conflicts For a sample of students in the second cycle of basic education, which is an experimental study and relied on the experimental approach using what is known as the pre-post experience using one experimental group, The human population for this study consists of a sample of third year preparatory students at Al-Ghoraizat Preparatory School for Boys in Sohag, and their number is (15), One of the most important results of the current study was the existence of a statistically significant positive relationship between the professional intervention program for the method of working with groups using task groups and the promotion of citizenship values ​​to mitigate the severity of societal conflicts surrounding the school community, As a result of the professional intervention based on task groups, through the analysis and interpretation of the pre and post research tool of the study, this is evident through the following: There are substantial differences between the pre and post research tool responses for using the professional intervention program in the way of working with groups through task groups in dimension of the nature of societal conflicts in favor of post-measurement, There are significant differences between the responses of the pre and post research tool for using the professional intervention program in the method of working with groups through task groups in the dimension of the reasons (religious, ethnic and sectarian, social, political, security) for the occurrence of societal conflicts in favor of the post measurement, and there are essential differences Between the responses of the pre and post research tool using the professional intervention program in the method of working with groups through task groups in the dimension of the seriousness of these conflicts on the nature of social construction and citizenship values ​​in favor of the post measurement.
