The Availability of Self-Regulated Learning Skills among of the students of the History Department of the Faculties of Arabic Language, Al- Azhar University In Light of the Requirements of Internationalization of Education

Abstract

      The current study aimed to identify the availability of self-learning skills among students of the History Department of the faculties of the Arabic language, Al-Azhar University in light of the requirements of internationalization of education, and to determine the degree to which students possess these skills. The sample of the study was represented by the students of the third year, History Department, Faculty of Arabic Language, Al-Azhar University, Asyut, academic year (2022/2023), numbering (309) students, The current study answers the main question of what the availability of self-learning skills among students of the History Department of the faculties of the Arabic language, Al-Azhar University in light of the requirements of internationalization of education, The study used the descriptive approach in order to collect data and information on the self-learning necessary for these students In addition to collecting information on the internationalization of education, and a self-learning skills questionnaire was built in light of the requirements of internationalization of education, It consisted of five competencies, the domain parameters were formulated, and the standard properties of the resolution were checked for apparent truthfulness and constancy using alpha-kronbach internal consistency, The study concluded that the degree of students' possession of self-learning skills is medium, and the study recommended enhancing self-learning skills and including them within the research curriculum syllabus to meet the requirements of internationalization of education.
