Evaluating the content of social studies curricula for the visually impaired in the preparatory stage in the light of the dimensions of international education

Abstract

      The study aimed to evaluate the content of social studies curricula for the visually impaired in the preparatory stage in the light of the dimensions of international education. (9) dimensions, and (59) indicators; The most prominent findings of the study are: the weakness of the dimensions of international education in the social studies curricula for the visually impaired in the preparatory stage; Where the percentage of its dimensions, respectively, is international peace (18.9%), understanding for international solidarity and cooperation (17.9%), rights, duties and freedoms at the global level (13.9%), international tolerance (11.9%) and sustainable global development (12.9%). The different cultures of peoples and civilizations (11.4%), the human and the global environment (8.5%), the social dimension (2.5%), participation in solving global population problems (2%), and a proposed conception of social studies curricula for the disabled was developed. Visually in the preparatory stage in light of the dimensions of international education and its indicators.
