A proposed strategic framework from the perspective of social planning for the internationalization of social work education in Egypt - Al-Azhar as a model

Abstract

       Social work is considered one of the most important professions of humanitarian assistance, which is more depended on  than before and  integrative in addressing global issues such as  the requirements of development goals for  the third millennium , sustainable development visions, and the sequences  of post-globalization etc ,  It is also a common denominator between various humanitarian professions and Social  welfare  sectors , it seeks to develop its practices in line with the changes of the times using  several mechanisms, the most important of which is the internationalization of social work education and practice. The internationalization of social work education in Egypt in general and at Al-Azhar University in particular is very important. It includes forensic sciences, theoretical sciences, applied, humanities and social sciences, and given the importance of research in this issue and its relation to social planning, the current study aimed to limit theoretical frameworks and sober field experiences in the field of internationalizing social work education through librarial survey. In order to reach a proposed strategic framework from the perspective of social planning for the internationalization of social work education in Egypt by applying to the Department of Social Work and Community Development at Al-Azhar University. On planning for the internationalization of social work education - a strategic vision: in terms of (planning for student mobility, planning for the movement of faculty members, curriculum transactions, field training, and cross-cultural research cooperation), and a focus on the proposed roles of strategic actors in internationalization by application to Al-Azhar University.
