The degree of using gamification technology at primary school science teachers in Makkah Al-Mukarramah

Abstract

The study aims to identify the degree of using gamification technology among science teachers at the primary stage. The survey descriptive approach was adopted, and the questionnaire was used as a study tool. It was applied to a sample consisting of (189)   male and female science teacher for the primary stage in Makkah Al-Mukarramah. The results of the study showed: The importance of using gamification technology from the point of view of science teachers for the primary stage is (very high) with an arithmetic average of (4.21), while the degree of using gamification technology among science teachers for the primary stage in Makkah was Makkah with a (high) degree, with an arithmetic average of (2.38), And the results also revealed:  no statistically significant differences appeared at the level of significance (α ≤ 0.05) between the responses of the study sample on each of the importance of using, and the degree of using gamification technology among primary school science teachers in Makkah Al-Mukarramah region, according to For the variables of the study (gender, educational qualification, Classroom, years of experience), and the researchers recommend expanding the use of gamification technology applications in teaching the science course to take advantage of its potential in promoting a rich and renewed learning experience for primary school students
