Abstract

The study aimed to identify the reality of the correlation between leadership skills and its impact on the ability of female students to manage volunteer work teams, and to provide mechanisms for activating the practice of leadership skills to enable "social responsibility" of the students of (Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University (PNU))in the light of the Kingdom’s 2030 vision and in line with the response to the goals, initiatives and projects of the National Transformation Program to reach one million volunteers by the end of 2030. In line with the response to the goals, initiatives and projects of the National Transformation Program to reach one million volunteers by the end of 2030, And the launch of the (National Platform for Voluntary Work), and the identification of indicators (Edamah Standard), which is the Saudi national standard for volunteering, and the “Institutionalization of Social Responsibility in Saudi Universities”.. The study used the mixed research method: a method that combined the quantitative method with the descriptive-relational method. The qualitative approach in the documentary method. The study tool (leadership skills scale and volunteer work team management scale) was applied (prepared by the researcher) on a stratified random sample of (603) undergraduate students in the humanities, scientific and medical colleges at (Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University (PNU)).. The results showed the existence of positive correlations with a (medium) degree and statistically significant at the level of significance (0.01) between the dimensions of the leadership skills scale: (self-skills, thinking and learning skills, planning skills, technical skills, decision-making skills, problem-solving skills, communication skills, and skills of leading teamwork teams) and between the dimensions of managing volunteer work teams in: (the first dimension (leading volunteer work teams), and the second dimension (guiding volunteer work teams); that is, the more leadership skills among female students, the greater their success in managing volunteer work teams; and it revealed The results revealed that there were statistically significant differences at the level (0.05) between the female students’ responses about the total score of the leadership skills scale and the voluntary work team management scale due to the difference in the college variable and were in favor of the students of the humanities colleges. They achieved success in managing volunteer work teams, and based on the results of the study, mechanisms were presented to activate the practice of leadership skills in light of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
