On Some Women's Issues in Contemporary Educational Thought

Abstract

 reveal the status of women in the Islamic religion and to stand on the most important issues of women raised in contemporary thought and the role of institutions in developing women's awareness of their issues in contemporary thought. The current study used the descriptive approach, where the researcher analyzed the primary sources to identify women's issues in contemporary thought, with the help of the deductive approach. The current study was limited to dealing with the following issues: (equality, feminism, divorce, and veiling); As one of the most discussed issues in Islamic societies at the present time; In view of the economic, social, political, and moral crises it is going through, its passage requires individuals with a degree of awareness and understanding of the seriousness of these issues, with an awareness of the teachings of Islamic law that lead to the right path, God willing. The study concluded with a set of recommendations: enlightening women about the status of Muslim women, and identifying women's rights granted to them by Islam. Responding to suspicions in all women's issues by referring to the Book of God Almighty, and the Sunnah of His Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace. Reading the current reality of women in a critical and balanced manner in accordance with Islamic law. Holding dialogue tables dealing with women's issues with scholars and professors specialized in the Islamic faith, so that they are dealt with from a legal perspective. Include courses in universities and schools that deal with women's issues from an Islamic perspective.
