Abstract

The research aimed to highlight the features of international education in the Stoic philosophy of education. This is done by forming a conceptual framework on the dimensions of international education, analyzing these dimensions, and identifying their place in the philosophical schools that preceded the stoicism in time, as well as clarifying the distinctive features of the Stoic school in the light of its perceptions and its impact on education and its applications emanating from it, and the relationship of those features to the dimensions of international education. The descriptive method was used by describing, interpreting and analyzing each of the dimensions of international education and the educational applications of Stoic philosophy, in addition to the philosophical analysis method to analyze some Stoic texts and derive provisions and teachings related to the dimensions of international education from them. In the end, reaching to an educational approach that reveals the dimensions of international education that are included in the educational philosophy of that school, which is distinguished from other positivist philosophical schools - that preceded it in time - in its view of the world as a human university; Hence the rooting of the issue of international education in its multiple dimensions.
