Abstract

The current research  aimed to explore the effectiveness of   integrative   counselling   program in reducing perceived Disability stigma and  improving subjective vitality  among  brothers of   mental retardation kids, the research sample   were selected from Damro prep school in El - Mahalla El kubra ,Their age ranges  from  (13 to 15) year ,Sample consisted of (24) student divided into two groups an  experimental group (n=12)  and control group (n=12) , The methodology is based  on quasi-experimental  approach. The researchers used Scale of perceived Disability  stigma, subjective vitality  scale and  integrated counseling program  (by  :researchers) results  confirmed  the  hypotheses,  which  implies  that  the        program was effective in improving  subjective vitality  among  brothers  of   mental retardation kids  and  reducing Disability stigma, There is statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the experimental and control groups in the post measurement on the perceived disability  stigma scale in the direction of control group, and the presence of statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the experimental group in perceived Disability   stigma before and after the application of the program in the direction of the tribal measurement, and there  is no  significant differences Statistically between  pre and  experimental group's scores in  Disability stigma in the post and follow-up measurements, There is  also statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the experimental and control groups in the post measurement on the   subjective vitality   scale in the direction of  an  experimental group  and no  significant differences Statistically between   post and  follow-up measurements In experimental group's scores on subjective vitality   scale.
